iEcon,
previously known as Econ, was set up in 1982 when a group of provision
retailers formed an alliance to purchase in bulk from suppliers. Econ
grocery retail franchise chain built its success on a very simple
principle — providing families all over Singapore with everyday
essentials that are fresh and high in quality. Through the years, it
has grown to become a trusted household name – the friendly grocery
store that’s always close to home and always close to the hearts of its
customers.
The
ever-changing,
ever-demanding Singaporean lifestyle meant that consumers want easier

launched iEcon, an enhanced version of the Econ Minimart, to further
