Think about how you are going to sing and perform the iEcon jingle that is unique and engaging. Unleash your creativity. Dance, act, acapella, or rap! Additional musical accompaniment, musical instruments, and background vocals are permitted during the recording.

Then, rehearse. Rehearse. Rehearse. Take it seriously. Having to stare at a paper or computer screen during your recording is not very appealing!

This contest is for the English version of iEcon jingle but you can download the iEcon Chinese jingle to catch up the tune (for reference only). 

All you need is a simple video recorder, be it from hand phone, camera, or webcam. Set up the recorder in a space that you are comfortable in. Ready, get set, record!

Each contestant may submit only one entry. Maximum of one minute recording is recommended to be saved in WMA, WMA or MP3 file format.

Watch the video back, concentrate on both your performance and vocals. If there are any areas you could improve, record it again! The more you practice the better it will be! Once you have your BEST video, save and submit it to us!

 

There are few alternative ways to submit your video:



Zip and name your video creation, send it to us at ieconidol@i-econ.com.sg. Download the submission form, fill all required fields, and attach it with your email.

If your video file exceeds 10MB, please compressed or zip and send the file to us via www.yousendit.com or other file transfer & email service providers. 

Burn the file into a CD and name your video creation. Please double check by replaying the CD to ensure it was properly recorded and saved. Download the submission form, fill all required fields, and send it together with the CD to the organiser as follow:

We are proud to introduce the iEcon idol Panel of Judges as follow:

1. Ms Lena Teo
Ms Teo is the Senior Vice President (Group Corporate Services/ HR/ Special Projects/ Franchise Business) of PSC Corporation Ltd, the franchisor of iEcon. She is also the Director of InnoForm group, leader in the distribution of ‘edutainment’ and entertainment products in Singapore and Asia which continues to consolidate its position as the market leader of Karaoke-On-Demand system in Singapore under its MusicBox branding. She has over 18 years of experience in human resource, corporate services, business development and general management with MNCs in the manufacturing, FMCG and marine industries.

2. Mr Simon Nasser
Mr Simon Nasser is the Marketing Director (International Department) of Warner Music Singapore. Being an industry veteran for over 25 years, Mr Nasser has a very keen ear for spotting hits before anyone else. Artists that are marketed here, under his platform are Linkin Park, Madonna, Michael Buble, The Click Five, Jason Mraz, Josh Groban… to name a few.

 3. Ms Carina Tien Ms Tien, founder of the Voice Room has been in entertainment business since 1987. She has maintained a private practice, teaching singing since 1992. Ms Tien is a frequent performer at the Esplanade, versatile vocalist, full-time training consultant & music educator who has developed a highly effective approach for non-classical singers to reach their potentials.

On 15 October, the organiser will announce winners’ name via iEcon website, Facebook and send a notification letter to their mail address.
