Our main subsidiaries in the FMCG business are: Beginning life as a manufacturing entity in the early 80’s, Fortune Food Manufacturing has since then grown into a leading player in innovative food manufacturing in Singapore. Besides specialising in soya bean-based products such as tofu and tau kwa, Fortune Food is also the pioneer in introducing Sobe, the first fresh, pasteurized soyamilk, to Singaporeans. Fortune Food’s distribution arm, Fortune Food Marketing, which distributes its own products as well as brands from other parts of the world.distributes its own products as well as brands from other parts of the world. With one of the strongest chilled distribution networks in Singapore, products are delivered fresh to retail and foodservice outlets such as hypermarkets, supermarkets, minimarts, provision stores, wet markets, restaurants and institutions. Popular proprietary brands and products manufactured and distributed by Fortune Food include Sobe Soyamilk, Sweet Spot ready-to-eat dessert, Fortune tofu and noodle products. Fortune Food also distributes other well known brands including Hosei Japanese Udon, Pauls Yoghurts, Dimes Juice, Heinz SinSin, Waterlily and well known rice brands such as JA Premium Japanese Rice, Royal Umbrella, Gitangkim, and Okome. Socma Trading (M) Sdn Bhd Socma Trading (Malaysia) manages brands for distribution in Malaysia. It is the sole distributer of several popular snacks and confectionaries, including Mentos candies, Chupa Chups lollipops, Tao Kae Noi seaweed, Supernut groundnuts and Tai Sun range of snacks. Fresh Fruit Juice Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Socma Trading. Previously known as Tipex Trading Pte Ltd, Tipex Pte Ltd was set up in 1984 to supplement PSC in its distribution of dried goods, preserved fruits, canned food and festive goods. Since then, it has expanded its portfolio and, today, it is one of the major local distributors of consumer tissue paper products, catering to both retail and institutional customers. Tipex owns local leading tissue paper brand, Beautex, which has won numerous Superbrands awards and was the first to launch a complete range of premium and economical three-ply tissue products. Beautex was ranked number one in terms of sales value of facial tissue for 2009 by AC Nielsen. Besides Beautex, Tipex also owns tissue paper brands like Mood, Hibis, Comfy and Parity. Tipex is the exclusive distributor of premium baby diaper brands, Pet Pet & Fitti, as well as adult diaper brands, Certainty and Dispo123, in Singapore. Tips Industry, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tipex Pte Ltd, manufactures both consumer and commercial tissue paper products. Its consumer tissue paper range includes facial box tissue, pocket tissue, handkerchief, bathroom tissue, and kitchen towel. Its commercial products include napkin, serviette, hand towel, bathroom tissue, jumbo roll, hand & body soap, as well as dispenser. Since Topseller’s establishment in 1977, it has strengthened its presence as a competent distributor and developer of popular consumer brands in Asia. As a leading distributor of consumer goods, part of its business is to connect FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) brands to new markets through the supply and value chains. Through these decades, it has successfully reached out to consumers with renowned brands like Royal Umbrella rice, Golden Peony rice, Gitangkim rice, Harmuni rice and oil, Golden Circle, Soyalite oil, as well as Sunnyfresh detergent, Promax detergent, Singpo detergent and TP706 dishwash. Besides these, Topseller has built strong partnerships with and distributed brands like Nestle, Kao, 3M, Lion, Reckitt Benckiser, Chupa Chups, Smint, Pauls, Koka and Jia Jia.
